Sherbi Construction Group is a family-owned construction company based in Wichita, Kansas, led by Omar Sherbi — a lifelong Wichita native with deep roots in the building and home improvement industry.

Omar began his entrepreneurial journey in 2017 at just 23 years old when he founded Granite USA, a local granite and countertop company that quickly grew into one of Wichita’s most active stone fabrication businesses. At its peak, Granite USA was completing 5 to 9 kitchens every week and working with major names like Lowe’s, Floor & Decor, Cabinets To Go, local restaurants, commercial projects, and even national productions, including 16 episodes for Netflix’s Queer Eye.

After years of building Granite USA into a trusted local brand, Omar expanded into wholesale stone and cabinetry by opening Sherbi Stone in Dallas, Texas. Today, Sherbi Stone supplies quartz slabs and multiple cabinet lines to builders, contractors, and designers.

After selling Granite USA to a local Wichita business owner, Omar returned his focus to construction and development through Sherbi Construction Group. The company now specializes in custom homes, spec homes, remodeling, additions, and construction projects built with the same standard of quality, speed, and hands-on experience that shaped Omar’s earlier businesses.

At the heart of Sherbi Construction Group is family. Omar’s siblings have played key roles across his companies — from fabrication management and design to office operations. As Omar likes to say, “I may be the owner, but they’re the boss.”
